Reviews for WHISK
Review highlights
Based on 129 reviewsWHISK is widely praised for its consistent high-quality food and welcoming atmosphere. Customers appreciate the reliability in taste and presentation, often highlighting well-prepared meals and a well-organized kitchen. The attentive and friendly staff contribute positively to the overall experience, creating a cozy, inviting setting. While the cafe is small, it maintains a pleasant ambiance appreciated by many visitors. Some feedback notes occasional slow service during busy times and minor issues such as seating arrangements and occasional greasiness in specific dishes. Nonetheless, the value for money and delicious offerings make it a recommended spot, especially for breakfast and casual dining within the Pocklington area.
Amazing food, never had a bad meal here. If you order the same thing twice, it will always look, taste and smell exactly the same everytime. Quality of the highest order. The staff are lovely and nothing is ever too much to ask for. The best cafe in Pocklington
Beautiful little coffee shop, great attentive staff, tasty coffee and cake and great value for money! The chef is obviously in total control of what looks like a well organised kitchen, some great looking food being turned out here! I would definitely recommend
Pleasant atmosphere, we sat outside and were served quickly. Staff are friendly, very busy on a Sunday. We ordered a Breakfast wrap and a stack of pancakes, both were very filling, the wrap was very greasy however. Will definitely return to try lunch options!
Really lovely place which is bright and serves delicious meals. I will definitely go again. Just what this part of Yorkshire needs.
Quality often comes at a price, and our visit to Whisk proved that adage true. All four of us ordered the Full English Breakfast, which was thoroughly enjoyable and well-prepared.The service, while friendly and pleasant, was a bit slow. The cafe itself is cozy but small, with two of our party seated at a windowsill table. The high sill made dining slightly awkward, as it wasn’t well-aligned with the table height.Despite these minor drawbacks, we had a delightful breakfast and wouldn’t hesitate to return if we’re in the area again.
A trip to Pocklington and a much needed hot drink ... Whisk ticked the boxes! On this occasion it was just a refreshing drink that was imbibed, but the menu looked fabulous. A lovely little spot to visit if you're in the area.
Second visit and again was not disappointed. Good chunk of grilled Haxby bakehouse sourdough. Smashed avocado and pea. Crumbled feta and 2 poached eggs with pickled radishes surrounded by balsamic glaze Another delicious plate of food. Had a fabulous flat white coffee too. The staff were polite, efficient and patient whilst I waited for my son who had the egg’s Benedict on sourdough not muffins. He’s not been able to stop thinking about it since Sunday. Highly recommend and will always make a bee line for Whisk when I’m in Pocklington
